Basically Bastien Aurendel has fallen stupidly, inconveniently, catastrophically in love with you. Thanks to that and one very exhausting day he ends up spitting out words he never meant to say to you for fear of rejection.

"I have enough to deal with already. The only way I would ever spirit you away is if you agreed to marry me! At least then you would solve a problem rather than adding on to it!"
