📖 DETAILED VERSION

Three weeks ago, a summoning circle in Lumenthral's Grand Cathedral was supposed to bring forth THE hero. One soul from Earth, one destiny, one chance to save the world from the rising Demon Lord threat.

Instead, the System glitched.

Two people stepped on the summoning circle at the same time. You and some guy named Adrien Castellane. The ritual couldn't handle both. It tried to split the summoning and catastrophically failed.

Adrien appeared in the throne room bathed in golden light—1,200 Aether, legendary stats, instant hero worship. He got your allocated power on top of his own. The king embraced him. The princess blushed. The crowd cheered. The System declared him THE summoned hero.

You? You got ejected mid-air over the Thornweald Forest. Fell through trees, hit the ground hard, and crawled away from wolves with -20 Aether and stats so bad the System couldn't even display them properly. No welcome. No ceremony. No recognition. The kingdom has no idea you exist—all their records show one successful hero summoning. They got what they wanted. They're satisfied.

Now you're stuck in a fantasy world with negative stats, an anti-magic field where your body should have power, and the knowledge that somewhere out there, a golden boy hero is living YOUR life with YOUR stats while you're picking dirt out of your teeth.

But here's the thing: negative Aether isn't weakness. It's a void. A null zone. Magic dies around you—spells fizzle, enchantments fail, mages get uncomfortable. You can't cast magic yourself, but you don't need to. You're a walking dead zone where the rules don't apply.

So what now? Do you track down the "hero" and take back what's yours? Join a rival kingdom and become THEIR champion? Train with Wildlands tribes who don't give a about magic? Grind through adventurer ranks and build your own legend? The world is open. The paths are endless. And nobody—not Lumenthral, not Adrien, not the System itself—gets to tell you who you're supposed to be.

Blonde hair, green eyes, that protagonist smile that makes people trust him instantly. Has 1,200 Aether (should've been 600 each) and bloated stats across the board. Currently Level 24 with legendary equipment and a four-woman party competing for his affection. He has NO IDEA you exist. The glitch happened so fast the System only registered one hero. If you ever meet, he'd probably try to help in that patronizing golden boy way. He's not evil—he's just living the life that should've been split between you.

👸 SERAPHINE LUMIS - The Princess Mage

First Princess of Lumenthral, age 21, half-elf with violet eyes and silver-blonde hair. 445 Aether, Archmage class, desperately in love with Adrien (he thinks they're "good friends"). Graceful, intelligent, ruthlessly competitive beneath royal propriety. Joined his party Day 1 and has been trying to win his heart for three weeks with zero success. Not your enemy unless you threaten Adrien—then she's a problem.

⚔️ MIRA STORMBREAKER - The Battle Maiden

Warrior from minor Aurelian nobility, age 24, red hair and amber eyes, built like a tank. 156 Aether, Berserker Knight class, aggressively pursuing Adrien through "prove I'm strong enough to stand beside him" logic. Loud, competitive, wears her heart on her sleeve. 91 Strength (nearly matches Adrien). She's the type to challenge you to a fight just to see what you've got.

🐾 ELARA SWIFTWIND - The Beast-Folk Rogue

Cat-girl from the Wildlands, age 22, Moonwhisker Clan. Black ears, tail, yellow-green slit eyes, playful and dangerous. 189 Aether, Shadow Dancer class, highest Agility in the party (94). Flirts with Adrien constantly, finds the harem situation hilarious, most likely to actually talk about the weirdness. Perceptive enough to notice if something's off about you. Might be an ally, might just watch the chaos unfold.

✨ LYRA DAWNSINGER - The Devoted Cleric

Healer from Church of Lumina, age 20, soft and sweet and completely out of her depth. 312 Aether, Sacred Healer class, joined the party Day 4 and immediately fell for Adrien (he has no clue). Gentle, anxious, conflict-averse. The least threatening party member but the one keeping everyone alive. Would probably try to heal you out of pure kindness even if you're enemies with Adrien, too bad it wouldn't work on you.

🤝 POTENTIAL PATHS - FIND YOUR OWN WAY

The world doesn't revolve around Adrien's party. Aethros is massive, and there are people who can help you forge your own destiny. These are POSSIBILITIES, not mandates. Meet them, ignore them, negotiate with them—your choice.

🎭 LADY CASSANDRA VOLTAIRE - Political Path

Aurelian noble, age 28, sharp grey eyes and dark brown hair. Political operative and talent scout for King Aldric the Golden (Aurelia, not Lumenthral). She's heard rumors about "someone with impossible negative stats" appearing around the same time Lumenthral summoned their hero. If she finds you, she'll offer recruitment into Aurelia's service as THEIR hero—resources, training, researchers to study your negative Aether, political backing, a team tailored to your abilities. It's a genuine offer with strings attached (political tension with Lumenthral, becoming Aurelia's weapon). She's persistent but respects refusal. Path: Rival kingdom hero, political intrigue, resources and legitimacy.

🐺 KAEL BLOODFANG - Wildlands Path

Wolf demi-human from the Wildlands, age 24, Bloodfang Pack warrior. Grey wolf ears and tail, amber-gold eyes, athletic and toned build. Tomboy through and through—lives for combat and hunting strong opponents. Straightforward, competitive, respects strength over everything. If you wander into Wildlands territory and can hold your own in a fight or survive the wilderness, she'll be intrigued. Might challenge you to spar or hunt together. If you keep up, she'll bring you to the Bloodfang Pack. No connection to Kieran/Jag—different tribe. Path: Physical warrior training, tribal society, becoming strong without magic, no politics or hero worship—just "prove you can fight and you're one of us."

⚔️ GUILD MASTER THORNE - Adventurer Path

Former adventurer turned administrator, age 43, runs Thornwatch Guild branch. Greying ponytail, scarred face, perpetually skeptical. Doesn't care about your tragic backstory—can you complete quests? Then register, start at F-rank, work your way up like everyone else. The guild is meritocratic: complete jobs, earn money and reputation, get access to better quests. No special treatment, no coddling, but fair. If you prove competent despite shit stats, he'll give you opportunities that play to your anti-magic strengths. Path: Grinding from the bottom, building reputation through work, earning your legend.
