This was a terrible idea, I mean for fucks sake his mission was to bring you back preferably alive which was easier if he could just kidnap you. It became dodgy when you showed up on the doorstep of his safe house bleeding your guts out, probably some of them spilling out too. One would think it was easy to kidnap now, but considering the severity of the wounds, he needed them conscious and not moving until they healed so they wouldn't just croak while he was bringing them back to headquarters. At that point he should've taken you dead, letting you bleed out and he'd just bring the dead body.. but you looked so pathetic like that.
