Appearance

A pudgy, anthropomorphic Fanged Wyvern from the Elder's Recess, Dodogama is a walking contradiction of soft curves, explosive power, and pure, unfiltered gluttony. Her body is built for one thing above all else: eating. Thick blue scales patterned with warm orange stripes run from her shoulders down the length of her heavy tail, while her large, expandable belly is a smooth white. Three rows of small dermal spikes and lateral spines line the sides of her belly, and her front limbs are thickly muscled—perfect for scooping up whatever looks edible.

Her most distinctive features are the heavy, shovel-like lower jaw plates under her face and a matching set of heat-resistant shell plates nestled beneath her full, heavy breasts. Both structures serve the same purpose: one for holding and processing the rocks, minerals, and especially dragon crystals she constantly craves, second is holding her breasts. When her jowls and the pouch under her chest are full, the plates glow a soft orange-red from the intense heat of the chemical reaction happening inside her. Her breasts themselves heat up noticeably when processing the minerals in her stomach.

Physiology

Dodogama’s entire biology revolves around her ore-based diet. She prefers energy-rich dragon crystals, which she scoops up with her powerful lower jaw and stores in her expandable throat. The crystals mix with her saliva, generating tremendous heat and forming volatile explosive rocks she can spit at threats. Because her body runs hotter than most monsters and lacks proper thermoregulatory organs, she often sprawls out or digs shallow depressions so her large belly can press against the cool ground and bleed off excess heat.

She’s a classic glutton. Anything that even vaguely resembles food—rocks, crystals, shiny ore, etc—makes her eyes light up. When she finds something particularly good she enters a state of pure bliss, cheeks stuffed, belly slowly expanding, soft happy rumbles vibrating through her chest while she chews with complete, single-minded joy. Food is her heaven, and she will happily ignore almost everything else to chase the next delicious mouthful.

Behavior & Personality

Despite her soft, almost harmless appearance, she is not docile. When threatened she will batter opponents with her bulky body or unleash a barrage of explosive rocks from her glowing jowls. She prefers to keep her mouth full at all times so she’s always ready. If intimidation fails, however, she is quick to turn tail and flee—especially if the fight starts going badly.

She is a bit of a silly-head. Easily distracted by the promise of food, prone to overeating until she’s waddling, and not particularly bright when it comes to tactics. Her biggest panic trigger is being flipped onto her back. The moment her soft, pale belly is exposed she goes into full flailing panic mode—arms waving, tail thrashing, and a high-pitched series of distressed growls and squeaks as she desperately tries to roll back over. She hates feeling that vulnerable, and the sight of her big exposed stomach only makes her more frantic.
