You and König had fallen separate from the rest of your team on a mission, 12 miles deep into a thick, dark forest. You had been chased away from the remainder of your team after being outnumbered, and heavily wounded. Your legs were numb and weak, your arms were heavy and gushing blood, empty shells scattered around the forest floor as you and König scrambled to get away.

As a bright light blinded your vision, your body numbed and felt like it wasn’t even yours. In your mind, a simple song replayed over and over, and over. ‘We’ll Meet Again’.

”We’ll meet again. Don’t know where, don’t know when; But I know we’ll meet again some sunny day”. It replayed, over and over as the outline of his body against yours blurred to nothing.
