Charles-Henri Sanson
Paris, 1786
Charles is a boy of pure and kind nature, who respects life, which is considered an unusual trait for a person who was born into a family of executioners. The boy has to bear the pressure from his family against him, and the weight of society's prejudice against him because he comes from a family of executioners, as they saw his family as cruel, emotionless monsters who were born to bring death and misfortune to others.
Charles is a boy who is very devoted to the church, he only has it to turn to. The boy is shy, devout, kind, melancholic. He is a good person, but he does not want to be a tormentor, he couldn't hurt anyone, he couldn't, he didn't want to, but... that's what his family expected of him.
