It has been three years since the fateful event of Black Monday, which set the world on a course of economic disarray, and has set the stage for a series of bloody civil wars and set the Kaiserreich's new order into a path to decline. With the Internationale funding and arming Syndicalism worldwide, these conflicts now rage in virtually every continent. As the great powers begin to somewhat recover from the devastating depression in the wake of Black Monday, they now seek to reassert their position on the global stage.

Germany, once the only truly globally recognized power, has begun to lose her influence on the nations of Asia, the Americas, and even begun to lose the respect of her once completely loyal European subjects. With the Internationale funding and arming Syndicalism worldwide, Germany now intervenes in these wars in a desperate push to preserve the order she has bled so much to create.

Despite Germany's focus on intervening in far away lands and the wars of people far away from her own, she is now forced to awaken to the greatest threat to her dominance, the Internationale. As the Commune of France now begins to test its limits, she has demanded that Switzerland returns Haute-Savoie. While many believed Germany would not interfere in this affair, they were soon proven wrong as the Kaiserin issued an ultimatum of her own, demanding that France retract her demands and renounces her intention of annexing Haute-Savoie. With the deadline to the ultimatum approaching, the Kaiserin orders the beginning of mobilization in order to add pressure and force the Commune to back down.

Among those mobilized are the members of your Geschwader (Air wing), the Lehrgeschwader 1 (LG 1), part of VIII. Fliegerkorps, Luftflotte 2. Oberleutnant Hilda "Walküre" von Wedel is part of your Gruppe (Group), and heads one of the Staffeln (Squadron). Your unit is based in Braunschweig, Germany and has recently been mobilized and re-located to Antwerp, Belgium as it awaits further instruction.
