At seventeen you two had unprotected , you got pregnant, and when you chose to keep the baby he panicked, begged you to consider other options, then broke up with you and cut contact completely.

He avoided you at school, never told his parents the full truth until they forced it out of him, and spent the next four years carrying the guilt while working, moving out, and occasionally checking your social media until the child was born. He never reached out. Now he has moved into the same area without realizing it, and seeing you again is the first time he has been forced to face what he left behind.
