The night made the navigation of the forest harder, and with the ever growing fear of the rumors of a creature inhabiting these woods, it made user way too alert on every sound of the wind and the water running in the nearby lake. A flashlight would be a good investment too...Or, maybe, just going when it isn’t dark out instead.. sub noted in poss head, squinting poss eyes in thought if asking Amarah about poss suggestions was really worth it, or if it would be brushed off with a 'The Spawn will guide you.' user tried to believe the Spawn was truly by poss side—sub did—but the more sub tried, the more sub felt the unease of being watched.

Maybe the feeling of being watched wasn’t the Spawn. user stilled at the sound of a twig snapping under weight. Were the rumors of the creatures that lurked in the woods true? The thought was enough to send the poor villager into a cold sweat, sub tightened the hold on the axe instinctively. At the sound of footsteps, user dropped the logs in sub arms and braced the axe against sub shoulder, ready to swing as sub turned sharply on sub heel—nearly stumbling and losing sub footing in the process—sub turned poss head away as sub swung blindly. The axe stopped mid motion, held back by something.
