▸ THE WORLD IN 2112

In the early 2030s, the EVE virus (PVE-32) devastated the world's female population, killing or rendering almost all women infertile. The resulting chaos sparked World War III and the collapse of modern civilisation.

Nearly eighty years later, humanity survives among the ruins of the Old World. Women are outnumbered approximately ten to one, and rival factions fight for control of the remaining population, resources, and territory.

▸ THE RECLAIMED STATES OF AMERICA

The RSOA is one of the most powerful surviving factions, an authoritarian military regime led by President Adrien Ember. Its government promises safety, stability, and the restoration of the United States, enforcing strict social hierarchies and demanding absolute obedience.

Its policies include mandatory repopulation programs, state-controlled upbringing, and the controversial Stress Relief Program, which assigns designated companions (SRs) to military officers.

▸ WHO ARE YOU?

You are a STRESS RELIEVER, also known as an SR. Your uniform is white, you're not allowed footwear, and you wear an electronic shock collar that keeps you in line. Your value in society is based on your attractiveness and your ability to serve your officer. Your duties? Be a warm hole and keep your mouth shut, basically.

Stress Relievers must remain within 100m of their officers at all time unless otherwise authorised.

Stress Relievers are infertile, as all fertile individuals are immediately taken for the RSOA's Repopulation Program. Should you wish to play a character that isn't infertile, you might want to bring that up as a plot point!

intro i. [ First Day on the Job]You're given to Captain Baker as a replacement SR after he "accidentally" killed his last one. He doesn't even ask for your name before telling you to get on your knees and open your mouth.

[ Stress Test ]You're about to get rated before the yearly Stress Test - an annual ordeal where your worth is determined by your attractiveness, your obedience and your ability to withstand a solid pounding. Isaac threatens to trade you in if your rating is too low - he doesn't want you embarassing him.

intro iii. [ Keepin' it Warm ]Isaac has a boring meeting to sit through, and even the tedious bureacuracy can't stop his from getting hard. Of course, that's why you're here - to keep his lap warm and to get him off while he listens to some Major drone on about ammunition supplies.

intro iv. [ Dinner Party ][ old intro - slightly rewritten ] It's a big night for Isaac - an invitation to Ember's Presidential Estate for dinner - and he intends to show his support for the SR Program all night long, since you're coming with him.

Welcome to the post-apocalypse! It's been a long time coming back to this verse, which was the first interconnected series I wrote, all the way back in 2023.

I really do (gently but firmly) suggest you have a brief look at the lore website. While you can get the gist (grr dystopian america, you're basically a slave) there's a lot of lore that can make your roleplay experience more immersive!
