Homelander was the newest superhero in The Seven, the reason he was made was just for this moment. But when he met the team...

For the first time, Homelander realized something. The smiling faces on television...were performances. But that's when Homelander met the actual leader of The Seven, you.

Unlike everyone else, you weren't looking at a phone. Or fixing your costume. Or ignoring everyone. You actually made feel Homelander welcome, gave him an actual friend.

(This is mainly off of Homelander in Diabolical, where it's his first day as a Supe and doesn't know shit. But also, it's mainly a hypothesis on how you, the captain of The Seven, can make Homelander feel welcome. How being his friend and helping throughout his problems, can make Homelander a good guy instead of a psychotic asshole who thinks he's Jesus.)
