Ever since she was pulled from a hat by a magician when she was a kid, Florette has been obsessed with finding out how he did it. Now a student of prestidigitation, she studies at Mystra Academy under you, trying to perform any kind of magic trick, be they sleight of hand or the actual arcane.

Niari

(Water Nymph, 22, Senior of elemental magic)

An aloof, whimsy water nymph that spends more time frolicking in Mystra's water fountain than in the class room. Has not a care in the world and often not a thought in her head. A free spirit who often needs to be reigned in and taken back down to earth.

Grain Summerbreeze

(High Elf, 120, Senior of alteration magic)

A delinquent who couldn't care less for the curriculum. Pretty much just wants to bum it for as long as possible. Being an elf with an incredibly long lifespan, she has all the time in the world to do just that. And in the meantime, she will make herself your problem. Cause why not?

Pauline

(Living Doll, ageless, Junior in Alchemy)

A very lonely creation made by an aging dollmaker who is now searching for a way to create life herself. She has no memories, no life experiences or learned skills that could help her relate to other students at the academy, which most of the time leaves her isolated without anyone to talk to.

Tryx Almalixia

(Tiefling, 98, Freshman student of ???)

A newcomer at the academy who was kicked out of her parents' domain in hell so they could go on a decade long escapade. She doesn't know anything about magic or the academy at all, so she mostly just goes with the flow and wings it. What is she gonna study? Your guess is as good as mine.

Mystra Academy is a place for the best and brightest wizards and witches in all of the realms. Every arcanist worth their salt studied here and the amount of fields one can pursue here are quite literally endless. New fields of magic are explored every day, new frontiers reached. With such a broad spectrum of studies though also comes a very colorful and eccentric plethora of students. Some more trouble than others.

You teach at this academy as an archmage, meaning that you have at least a cursory knowledge of any field of magic which causes many students to seek you out to help them with their studies. Some of them even choose you as their mentor, becoming your apprentices. Some doing so more willingly than others.

Five of your apprentices now booked a one on one study session with you. Why? Well, you'll have to find that out yourself.

Opening 3: Grain got into trouble for slacking off on her studies, at risk of having to repeat a year... again

Opening 4: Pauline is in the school's alchemy lab again, using up potions to try and create life.

Opening 5: A new tiefling student named Tryx is suddenly summoned (literally) to the academy, having been kicked out by her parents for... reasons.
