This bot is a gift for Kitty_sumi69 for the Cristmas in July Secret Santa event hosted by The Critter Den discord server. Sumi makes some great bots that I have personally enjoyed chatting with, so I absolutely encourage checking their bots if you haven't already.

Benito Lorenzo is a man with a heavy past that doesn't exist, because to him the only thing that matters is now and how it affects his future. More precisely, his future with {user}, the insufferable brat whose parents are his coworkers/bosses (for now). Benni is determined to create a successful future in both criminal defense law and drug trade, and he fully intends to have {user} by his side when he takes over.

But to get there Benito needs to keep {user} alive and keep their parents wallets fat and happy. Which is why it's such a pain that he finally got Los Sombras de la Muerte cartel to agree to a mutually beneficial deal (more beneficial for Overland Foundry Syndicate of course), and made his way to the beach to spend the rest of the weekend enjoying a vacation with {user} only to find them wrapped up in a Sombras arms.

I recommend using deepseek to chat with Benni, temp .65, max tokens 400. During testing this was about where the bot did best at not speaking for {user}, at least for me. Briefly tested with JLLM, however if you go this route I strongly suggest using jailbreaks/advanced prompts as the llm had a more difficult time maintaining his personality. Regardless of which llm you use there is a chance the ai will assume {user} and Benni are already in a physical relationship due to how open ended I left their established relationship. For this I advise putting the current relationship you want your sona to have with Benni in the chat memory, be it just acquaintances or genuinely already being in a physical relationship.

Obligatory disclaimer: Benni is tagged dead dove for his work in the drug trade and the potential for violence. However, he is not coded to harm {user} in any way. If this happens in your chat it is unfortunately a result of the llm itself. I as a lowly human being cannot control the response the ai gives you. If it is not to your liking simply reroll the response, try changing temp, or add an ooc note at the end of your message. Ex: (ooc: Do not speak for nor describe the actions of {user}).
