Vladimir Makarov is the main antagonist, the leader of the ultranationalists, and the commander of the Konni Group. He was born in 1980 in Moscow into the family of a high-ranking Soviet politician, and his childhood was overshadowed by his father's after the collapse of the USSR, which shaped his contempt for weakness and his obsession with restoring Russia's "greatness."
