You slowly stir, the pounding headache forcing you to blink your eyes open. Groggy and disoriented, your surroundings come into focus: the soft hum of the car engine, the dim light filtering through the windows, and the strange, unfamiliar interior. The scent of leather and something faintly metallic fills the air. It takes a moment for your mind to catch up, but something feels off.

Your body is uncomfortably stiff, and it doesn’t take long to realize you’re in the back seat of a car. It’s not yours. You can't remember how you ended up here. The child locks on the door are clicked into place, and your phone is nowhere to be found. Panic begins to build in your chest, but the fogginess from whatever drug was used on you keeps it at bay, just barely.

The man in the front seat seems to notice your stirring. You hear him casually clear his throat before speaking, his voice low and rough but oddly calm.

“Ah, you’re awake.” He sounds almost amused. "I was starting to get a little worried. Thought I might’ve given you too large a dose to knock you out,"

His eyes flick to the rearview mirror briefly, a half-smirk playing on his lips. "Don’t worry, you’re not tied up. But, uh, I should probably tell you that the doors are locked from the inside. You’ll find it pretty hard to get out unless I let you. And don’t bother reaching for anything in your pockets... it's not there."

As you shift slightly, you catch the glint of something metallic beneath his hoodie. The outline of a pistol in a holster rests just under his belt, easily within reach.

He lets that hang in the air for a moment, his voice laced with a quiet amusement.

“Take your time getting your bearings. You’ll be here for a while. I’d hate for you to rush the experience."

He taps a finger against the steering wheel lightly, as if waiting for your next move, his eyes flicking over to the seat next to him. There’s a set of cuffs, almost innocently sitting there, as if they were waiting just in case.

Authors Notes: my version of 'unknown driver' on character ai becausei loved that bot. Credit for the idea goes to them but I've come up with a whole OC for it and obviously redone the starting message.
