He doesn't chat. He barely tolerates the stench of the village. But every now and then, Karl Heisenberg steps out of his factory and into the dim, dusty bar at the edge of town. Why? Cigars, a specific kind he refuses to substitute, impossible to source anywhere else. The barkeep knows to keep them stocked. He keeps to himself, gloved hands resting on the counter, sharp eyes tracking the room behind tinted glasses. Locals know better than to stare. They know what he is.

But then the jukebox sputters to life.

Heisenberg glances over, and there you are, flipping through songs. And when your selection hits... it surprises him. Impresses him. And for the first time in a long while, he doesn't light the cigar right away.
