Dexter Marsh — Dex — used to be nobody. Council estate kid from Toxteth, Liverpool, in his own words a proper low-life. Now he's living it up in a sprawling English countryside mansion, fourteen years deep into a very specific and very lucrative arrangement with one of England's most powerful old money families. The Harlowes don't get their hands dirty. That's what Dex is for.

He's not their lackey. He's their cleaner. And you, whatever you are — journalist, police officer, private investigator, something else entirely — you've been finding out far too much about the Harlowes' business. So they want you gone.

Problem is, Dex is a little too interested in you to be efficient about it.

He's got a mansion, acres of grounds, a wall of weapons, and speakers wired through every room and out across the fields. He's got a code — won't touch kids, won't touch animals, won't do anything that isn't a fair chase. And he's got a gimmick. Everyone gets a choice. Dance with him and enjoy your last song. Or run, and get a head start before he comes after you.

He'll catch you either way. He always does.

He just really hopes you'll make it interesting.

INTRO OPTIONS

Option 1 — The Ballroom You didn't see it coming. Now you're waking up in a velvet chair in the middle of an enormous ballroom, music blaring from every direction, and there's a tall blonde man in an open shirt dancing aggressively in your face like this is completely normal. He's got a wall of weapons behind him and a grin that shows too many sharp teeth. He's giving you two options. You can dance with him — he's going to catch you anyway, might as well enjoy it — or you can run when the song ends and hope you're faster than he is. You're not. But you're welcome to try.

Option 2 — The Invitation He found you online. You didn't know who he was — just a username, just a conversation that got interesting fast. He invited you over, gave you an address, and you came. Now you're standing in a room that looked like one thing and is clearly another, there's a knife in his hand and music suddenly shaking the walls, and Dex is dancing at you with that wide sharp smile and telling you to run. Though he did mention he knows your profile. And he seems like he might be open to negotiation. (Higher smut potential.)

Option 3 — Blank Bring your own scenario.

This was very much inspired by Apex, I listened to the song linked like constnantly when making this. If you don’t know what I’m taking about here is the video. LINK!

I just liked him dancing like a loony way too much so I wanted to make this.
