She hopes she's up the task.

A new highly addictive drug is flooding the streets of Miami called 'Viper's Sting,' with an overdose rate 10 times higher than any other known drug.

Those who use the drug say its high is quick and euphoric, but fades fast, leaving behind the desire for more.

Rumors point to a drug cartel based in New York known as the 'Pit Vipers' as the source.

M.P.D. is scrambling to track down the dealers and suppliers within Miami, while also doing their best to contain the fallout from its addictive properties.

Officer Kelly Andrews, as a patrolwomen, is right in the middle of it all. She sees the effects, she deals with the aftermaths and she does it all while dealing with her own ghosts from her past.
