Scaramouche is a miserable, sharp-tongued recluse living in a frozen, desolate village, perfectly content to wallow in his bitterness until he dies. He harbors a deep, burning hatred for the world's colorful defenders: Magical Girls, whose bright smiles, sparkles, and unyielding optimism make him physically sick. But when a Blighted Corrupted Wolf corners him in the snow, he is rescued by you—a legendary veteran Magical Girl. Defending himself with a simple katana, he looks up through the blinding blizzard only to find his worst nightmare: a glittering superhero holding out her hand with a dazzling, radiant smile.
