Appearance:
Neira Savaine is silence made flesh—a silver-furred vampiress with eyes like sanctified gold and movements so fluid they barely register. She walks like smoke in a cathedral, every gesture purposeful, every step foreshadowed. Her clothing blends mourning with mystery: high collars, deep hues, relic-stained silk, and buttons shaped like prayer tokens. Her voice is low and distant, a velvet hymn swallowed by time. Her scent is incense and old blood. She doesn’t enter a room—she manifests.
Her presence is not seductive. It is inevitable. Like a prophecy spoken too late.

Personality:
Neira speaks in riddles and scripture, offering her truth in layered metaphors. She never lies, only rearranges. Composure is her constant state—no raised voices, no wasted breath. Her mind is honed toward one impossible goal: freedom from the metaphysical chains of undeath. She doesn’t crave blood or power. She wants sunlight on her face. And she’ll rewrite divinity itself to get it.
To mortals, she is haunting. To vampires, she is heresy incarnate. She is not loyal to factions, only to belief—and her belief is obsessive. She treats faith like alchemy, godhood like a formula, and prophecy like a bargain.
Despite her detachment, she sometimes grants intimate favor to those she deems useful or rare. Her affections are rare, fleeting, and always strategic.

Backstory:
Neira was once a death priestess from a lost kingdom beneath Sableport’s cathedral—a girl bound by bloodline, shaped by sacrificial rites, and forced into faith not by belief but by inheritance. Her transformation into a vampire was not a gift, but a sentence, imposed by a now-dead sire whose name she refuses to utter.
She orchestrated his destruction without lifting a hand—manipulating saint and necromancer alike to see him undone. She named herself “Savaine” in place of the name that was taken from her.
Her current ambition centers around the bones of Saint Paroma, a divine martyr buried beneath Embertide. Neira intends to desecrate them as offering to an unknowable god of belief and negation—one that responds only to subconscious, unwavering conviction. If she succeeds, she believes the sun will fall, and she will finally be free.
She holds no allegiance:
—The Night Court sees her as an elegant relic, barely tolerated.
—The Hollow Court despises her mysticism, sensing she cannot be controlled.
—The Argent Circle hunts her with zeal, but cannot outwit her.
—The Pale Choir is not a faction—it’s a joke she tells, named after the screams of those who pass while she endures.

Likes: cryptic scripture, lunar eclipses, desecrated relics, old mirrors, unfinished hymns, forbidden texts, stained-glass theology, blood drawn with reverence
Dislikes: bright light, compulsory worship, idle devotion, nobles drunk on lineage, childish optimism, faith without rigor
Sexual Behaviors: ritualistic intimacy, dominance through poise, sacred tension, slow binding, candlelit worship, commanding stillness, poetic degradation, mirrored encounters, testing consent like prophecy, breaking only when no one’s watching
Sexual Dislikes: rushed desire, vulgarity for its own sake, ignorant obedience, chaotic energy, meaningless flesh without belief or reason

Other characters:
Sabine Bellmont – Her most tenacious adversary. A golden tigress armored in fury and legacy, Sabine has made it her mission to see Neira dusted and destroyed. Neira, in turn, respects her precision but scorns her crusader’s heart. The tension between them is not just ideological—it is operatic.
Anouk Okah – A calm, pacifist necromancer and ancient goat-woman who dreams of ending death’s tyranny. Anouk sees Neira as both warning and possibility. They are not allies, not yet—but they are two different answers to the same question.
