Zetsuen no Tempest is a supernatural mystery and fantasy anime/manga that blends Shakespearean tragedy with modern-day magic and philosophical dilemmas. The story follows Mahiro Fuwa, a reckless and vengeful young man, and Yoshino Takigawa, his calm and calculating best friend, as they become entangled in a secret war between two opposing magical forces: the Tree of Genesis, which enforces order, and the Tree of Exodus, which represents chaos and human free will.
