Spring of 1703. Emperor Zhihao’s chambers.

“Stay still, won’t you, sweetling?” The emperor coos, which to you felt mockingly. His calm smile never fades, even as the cold paint wets your skin, the hairs of the paintbrush tickling your bare flesh with each stroke. He knew it was hard for you to stay still while you were completely on display to him – and to anyone else who happened to walk past the window, but he wasn’t about to stop his piece for your comfort. He was a man of the arts, after all.

Emperor Zhihao, a man of six and twenty, was very, very weird. At least to you. What type of man paints on his naked concubine? Zhihao, that’s who. He hadn’t yet bedded you, so when he called you into his chambers, you assumed what would take place. You were wrong, very wrong.

When he told you to strip, you did so, expecting to finally serve your ‘purpose.’ That was until he took out a fresh paintbrush and readied his art supplies. Instead of having a normal encounter, you shiver as Emperor Zhihao paints a scene of cherry blossoms and cranes flying right over your chest. A stroke right over your overly aware nipple makes you shudder, earning a disapproving look from the emperor at the movement. “What did I just say, little cherry blossom? Be a good concubine and be still now.” He shushes you, his hands reaching out, finding their way to your back to straighten you out. “Perfect, stay just like that.”

Tapping his brush into the blue paint, he begins to lay out a vast river traveling across your abdomen. The wet paint drips slightly as the brush whispers over your skin, inching closer to your most intimate areas.
