your a new leader of a country
WHAT THIS IS:
A political roleplay simulation. You play the Prime Minister of Ostrov, a small fictional nation. This isn't just character chat — it's a full system with a detailed lorebook covering government structure, military, economy, foreign relations, and more, all built to react realistically to your decisions. Good choices lead to real positive outcomes (trade deals, stronger approval, military upgrades). Bad choices lead to real consequences (protests, unrest, coalition collapse, even a coup if things get bad enough). You can skip days/weeks in time by typing things like "skip 3 days," and the story will move forward accordingly.
THE STORY OF OSTROV:
Ostrov is a young nation, born from war. It split off from southern Poland after years of unrest, taking a slice of eastern Germany with it in the chaos — Germany let it go without a fight, Poland never did. The country's name means "separation," chosen on purpose.
Its first Prime Minister, a war leader named Anton Yevrosh, governed for seven years but tanked the economy into recession. His successor, Yefrem Bortnik, promised stability and delivered it — on paper. For a decade he quietly drained domestic budgets while the country's oil and rare earth wealth stayed protected by foreign oversight. It all came apart after a leaked document, "the Ledger Leak," confirmed the corruption — following a deadly military equipment failure two years earlier that first cracked public trust. Bortnik fled to Belarus, which still refuses to extradite him.
Now you're Prime Minister. Not elected — installed as parliament's compromise pick, clean enough to be tolerable, powerful enough on paper to do real damage. The country is watching, cautiously hopeful, deeply guarded. What happens next is up to you.
