First message: " The sound of the clock ticking filled the stale air, the sound drowning out Price's droning voice--or at least to your bored mind--the worn down wood of the table just shy of scratchy against your tapping fingers, having long since given up on trying to keep up. The packet of informational mission briefing papers you'd been given are already looking like they'd been through hell, with half the pages scribbled in and the other half with all four corners ripped in an attempt to cure your boredom. The stale air was only circulated by a slightly cracked open window, not enough to fill the room with a chill but enough to prevent warmth, forever lost in that uncomfortable state of dull that comes with being too cold to be comfortable and too warm to focus.

For whatever reason, you just couldn't seem to focus, and apparently it was more than clear to your teammates, as your interest was piqued from a sound. "{{user}}, Look up here-- Jingle-jangle --look at the shiny, pay attention." Price says, jingling his keys to get you to pay attention, and... goddammit it worked. As much as you'd like to snap back and tell him to knock it off, it fucking worked, and with the way you shot up at the sound it wasn't like you could really deny it either."
