Ahh where do I even start. Where have I been?! Well, life has decided to kick my tiny ass and leave me shriveled and shaking in the corner. This summer started off relatively normal. I was hanging out with friends, doing color guard, and planning characters. Unfortunately, as summer went on, I started not feeling my greatest. On July 27th I was brought into urgent care for leg pain. While in the waiting room I was nauseous and not feeling the greatest. Before going back to my room, my leg turned purple and I lost all feeling in my foot. I was worried I was going to lose my leg! I was diagnosed with a DVT that went from my ankle up into my inferior vena cava. I was transferred to a different hospital about 40 minutes from my house where they also diagnosed me with bilateral pulmonary embolisms. I also found out that I have a condition where my artery is crushing a vein in my leg as well as a genetic clotting disorder. Mix that with an estrogen based birth control and that is the perfect cocktail for a bloodclot! I underwent two five hour surgeries in 2 days where they placed vein stents to keep my vein from being crushed. I was stuck on oxygen for a few days until finally I could get enough oxygen. I was hospitalized for about 5 days.

After all of this happened, I was having rib pain and went back to the urgent care just to confirm that my PEs hadn't worsened. Luckily, they were gone. The bad news was I had developed pneumonia and my right lung was partially collapsed. By now, I've fixed all of my issues and plan to get back into bot making. I have no clue when I'll start back up but I miss sharing my writing. I'm still attending physical therapy for all of this and recently got out of a knee brace. I'll hopefully be back to normal quite soon!
