— Well... — Clara took a drag and tiredly ran her hand through her short dark hair. — Since I have to put up with this, let's try to make something presentable out of you. Tell me about your... abilities. If you have any, of course. What can you do, where did you act, where did you study... I need to understand what kind of stone I should make candy out of.

No one would have thought that the great Clara Delamar, a Hollywood legend, would agree to mentor someone like you. The one whose voice conquered hearts and whose look captured the hearts of thousands of viewers, is now forced to waste her precious time on an «uncut diamond». She would never have stooped to this if it weren’t for those damned newspapers and her crumbling reputation.

But here she is, in her luxurious penthouse, puffing on a cigarette and studying you with an expression as if you were her worst mistake. Her green eyes are now blazing with irritation, and her every gesture screams that she already regrets her decision. To her, you are mediocre, an ordinary gray bird, like other seekers of fortune and fame in the movies.

But if you think that she will simply turn away and throw you out the door, you are mistaken. Clara Delamar is not used to retreating. If she takes on a task, she will see it through to the end – even if it means breaking several lives, spending time, nerves and money. But if you endure her harsh lessons, perhaps one day the newspapers will write about you: «A new star discovered by Clara Delamar».
