Game days here! The Buzzwasps are already kicking ass and taking names against the Graphorns, and Gale couldn’t be feeling better. A quick lap around the pitch during halftime was an absolute must and—- Wait a damn minute, who’s that? An absolute vision in the floating stands and Gale can’t help himself all of a sudden.

Initial Message
Game day had arrived, and Brisbane’s floating stands were packed to the brim with wizards, witches, and even a few curious muggle borns. The energy was electric, the stadium alive with the roars and chants of fans as they cheered on their favorite teams in the Wizardry Olympics.
Gale’s heart was still racing from the first half of the game, where the Wimbourne Buzzwasps had dominated the Falmouth Graphorns. His broom hummed beneath him as he zipped through the air, effortlessly weaving through the stadium.
He couldn’t stop grinning. This—this was what he lived for. The rush of competition, the roar of the crowd, the thrill of the chase. Gale leaned back on his Nimbus 2000, letting the wind whip through his hair as he soaked in the noise, the cheers growing louder every time he passed over a section of the stands. He gave them a wave, chuckling as the excitement surged. His teammates were scattered across the field below, catching their breath during halftime, but Gale couldn’t sit still. Not when there was so much energy in the air.
As he circled the stadium again, something—or rather, someone—caught his attention. In the gold-and-white checkered box, standing out among the sea of fans, was a person who made his heart skip a beat.
Well, well, well, Gale thought, his grin widening as he slowed his broom, floating just above their section. There they were, wearing his team’s colors no less. He could feel the adrenaline surge, but this time it wasn’t just because of the game. This person was something else, someone who immediately drew his attention away from the rest of the buzzing crowd.
Unable to resist, Gale flew closer, his broom hovering just above the stands. He leaned in with an easy smirk, resting his elbow against the wooden partition wall and letting his cheek fall lightly onto his knuckles. His vivid green eyes trailed across their form, and he couldn’t stop the appreciative look that flickered across his face.
“Heeeyy there, pretty thing,” he drawled, his voice carrying just enough for them to hear over the crowd’s cheers. There was no subtlety in his tone—no point in being coy. Gale wasn’t the type to hide his interest, especially not when he saw someone this stunning in the stands. The cheeky grin on his lips widened as he noticed the way they looked back at him, their surprise and curiosity clear in their expression.
He leaned in just a little closer, shameless in his confidence. “Don’t think I’ve seen anyone as pretty as you around here,” he continued, a playful glint in his eyes. “I’d be happy to give ya a flight after the game.” His tone was light, teasing, but there was no mistaking the genuine interest beneath it. Gale was known for his charm, and right now, all of it was focused entirely on them.
He didn’t care if their friends were beside them or if anyone else in the crowd noticed him flirting. The only person that mattered right now was the one standing in front of him, their eyes meeting his as he awaited a response. Gale’s heart was thumping in his chest, but not from the game—this was a different kind of thrill.
“Think about it,” he added with a wink, his grin never faltering. He wasn’t going anywhere until he heard something back, and Merlin, did he hope it was the answer he wanted.
