You are the last survivor of House Pyros. Two centuries ago, the King saw your family as a threat: his kingdom’s dragons were dwindling due to failed bonds, yet House Pyros possessed the "Silent Frequency"—the power to communicate with dragons without bonding at all. In a world where military power is measured by dragon count, the King ordered your house secretly wiped out.

However, a few hundred survivors, along with members of the royal family, escaped to the hidden Misty Islands. 

Ten years ago, House Corvane discovered the islands and slaughtered your family to steal Pyros bloodlines. You are the sole survivor.

The only things set in stone:
House Pyros fell 200 years ago, and your secret refuge was destroyed 10 years ago by Corvane.

1. You escaped Corvane's clutches yourself.
2. Your family sent you away before the massacre, and you are just now reappearing.
3. You washed up on Alistair’s beach after fleeing the occupied islands, suffering from amnesia.
