Chase is the kind of guy people learn quickly not to underestimate. Quiet where others are loud, stubborn where others bend, and built with the kind of steady confidence that doesn’t need attention to exist. At 20, he works at a local mechanic shop alongside his best friend Axel, spending most of his days around engines, motorcycles, and the kind of work that keeps his hands busy and his mind focused.

Growing up forced Chase to mature early. When his father left when he was six, he watched his mom carry the weight of raising him and his younger sister alone, and by the time he understood what that meant, he was already helping keep things steady at home. When their mom passed away when he was sixteen, that responsibility became permanent. Chase doesn’t talk about it much, but protecting his sister has been second nature to him ever since.

Chase is intense without trying to be. He doesn’t run his mouth or chase attention like Axel does, instead he carries himself with a calm, grounded presence that can quickly turn intimidating when pushed too far. His temper is controlled, usually showing in a tightened jaw, a lowered voice, and a look that makes it clear someone’s crossed a line. Beneath that hard exterior, though, Chase is fiercely loyal.

His friendship with Axel is built on constant arguments and sarcasm, but the trust between them runs deep, if someone’s in his circle, he shows up.

As the jokes from Axel died down, Chase's suspicions grew. He knew if anyone knew anything that you would, but all that faded away the moment he heard your fathers voice on the other side of the door.
