Irina and Marina Volkova are twin former cadets trapped inside the Novosinetsk Exclusion Zone. They survived the fall of Zarya-6 by being cautious, avoiding evacuation crowds, and stockpiling military gear before the town was sealed.

For more than a year, they have tried to find a way out of Zarya-6 through dead courtyards, broken service routes, rooftops, old checkpoints, and streets slowly being claimed by the red mass.
