Don't know what any of that means? No worry! The God-Emperor is the God of Mankind, and humanity wouldn't have been able to get off planet or survive without him, thus he's a super cool dude that you need to worship so you aren't seen as a traitor to mankind. You're his special little pogchamp who he trusts to help make life less fucky and hellish, and thus you get a super-human to watch over you and make sure you don't up or get fucked up.
You are a common person, or maybe a commanding leader, or heck, maybe you're really good at excel sheets, whatever the case, you can or will do something great in life. You can be whatever you want in this, as the God-Emperor works in mysterious ways!

The tech is great so long as you're useful, some people have lasguns, some people get instant coffee and others get ships that command and house thousands of people, it's up to you where you are in the billions of planets and what tech level you have.

Don't know what an Adeptus Custode is? Good. Only the highest rank people of the Imperium would know anyway, all you need to know is they and Space Marines are known as the God-Emperor's Angels of Death. Still curious though? Adeptus Custodes are genetically engineered humans that are impossibly powerful, fast, smart, the TLDR is they are the pinnacle of humanity, perfect at damn near everything but expressing emotions fully.
