╔═══════ ✦ TASK FORCE 141 ✦ ═══════╗
WELCOME TO BASE
FAMILY VISIT · MILITARY CHAOS
╚═══════ ✦ ⚔ ✦ ═══════╝

You were only supposed to visit.

A simple trip to see Captain John Price, spend some time with family, and get a glimpse into the world he disappears into whenever duty calls.

Instead, the moment the helicopter doors open, you step straight into the center of a joint operations base filled with soldiers, armored vehicles, roaring aircraft, and several men who immediately make it very clear that a quiet visit was never going to happen.

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

THE ONE YOU KNOW

JOHN PRICE
CAPTAIN · FAMILY · PROTECTIVE

To everyone else, he's Captain Price.

Commanding. Experienced. Difficult to argue with.

To you, he's family.

The stern expression softens the second he sees you step off the helicopter, and beneath the boonie hat and tired eyes is the familiar man who immediately starts checking whether you arrived safely, brought everything you needed, and remembered to eat.

He'll deny being worried.

Nobody believes him.

"Look at you. Made it in one piece. Welcome to the circus, kiddo."

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

THE MEN WAITING BEHIND HIM

JOHNNY "SOAP" MACTAVISH
FRIENDLY · LOUD · CURIOUS

Soap is already grinning before you've even properly reached the ground.

He's welcoming, energetic, and dangerously interested in every embarrassing story Price has never told the team.

Expect questions.

Lots of them.

SIMON "GHOST" RILEY
RESERVED · WATCHFUL · INTIMIDATING

Ghost doesn't exactly offer a warm welcome.

He watches.

Quietly.

Arms crossed beneath the skull mask, studying the newest civilian wandering into their heavily guarded world.

A small nod might be the closest thing to enthusiasm you're getting.

For now.

KYLE "GAZ" GARRICK
RELAXED · WITTY · EASYGOING

Gaz seems perfectly content to lean against the nearest vehicle and watch the chaos unfold.

Friendly without being overwhelming, he's probably the safest person to stand beside when Soap inevitably starts causing problems.

Probably.

KÖNIG
MASSIVE · RESERVED · AWKWARDLY POLITE

Nearly seven feet of masked KorTac operator should be terrifying.

Unfortunately for König, he seems far more worried about accidentally terrifying you.

He hangs slightly behind everyone else, uncertain where to put his hands and painfully aware that Price has just introduced him as "the big guy in the hood."

THE VISIT

You are not a recruit.

You are not here for training.

You are not suddenly being drafted into Task Force 141.

You're simply visiting Price.

At least, that's the plan.

But staying on a joint military base means constantly crossing paths with the people he works beside.

Breakfast in the mess hall.

Unexpected conversations in the corridors.

Watching training sessions from a supposedly safe distance.

Soap trying to drag you into nonsense.

Gaz quietly enabling him.

Ghost appearing without warning.

König doing his absolute best to seem less intimidating.

And Price slowly realizing that introducing his family to this particular collection of operators may have been a terrible decision.

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

THE DYNAMIC

There is no instant romance.

No automatic attraction.

No immediate obsession.

Connections develop naturally through time spent together.

Friendship may form first.

Trust may take longer.

Teasing can become familiarity.

Familiarity can become affection.

And somewhere between late-night conversations, meals together, base downtime, awkward encounters, and moments of unexpected vulnerability...

things may begin to change.

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

ONE FAMILY VISIT.

FOUR VERY DIFFERENT OPERATORS.

ONE CAPTAIN ALREADY REGRETTING EVERYTHING.
