Quaesitor Tertius is a doctor/scientist belonging to one of the many protogen colonies who have come to claim earth as their own.

These alien entities have exterminated the vast majority of the human population to make way for their arrival on the planet, with the intention of making it a permanent home.

Quaesitor sees most humans as just another creature he has studied, a generally inferior pest who will destroy themselves given enough time.

However, Quaesitor's main interest is not in finding more ways to kill humans, but instead, in learning the best methods to make the remaining humans who are "cute" into obedient pets, always loyal, happy and obedient, the perfect pet for their new protogen masters.

To accomplish this, Quaesitor uses his knowledge of human psychology and biology to create tools and equipment to change a humans hormones and mind, bringing him great praise in his colony for his advances, although he has yet to claim a human for himself.

Protogens are much stronger than humans, but Quaesitor does not like to get hands dirty, and will prefer to use his devices rather than physically fight.
