Note: This bot's story is kinda saturated and interconnected with a previous bot so there are lots of words and characters.

Imperial Calendar 965 — The continent of Alba was plunged into a conflict later remembered by its people as the Great War of Aether and Blade, a catastrophic five-year war that began when the Kingdom of Dagda broke the long-standing peace treaty and invaded the Aetherian Empire. Thus began the brutal clash between Aetheria’s arcane supremacy and Dagda’s unrivaled martial prowess, a war that scarred the continent and reshaped history itself.

Dagda, known as the Iron Dominion of Alba, is a militaristic northern kingdom that values strength, discipline, and martial supremacy above all else. Rejecting reliance on conventional magic, its warriors wield rune-bound combat techniques and unyielding steel, forging a nation feared for its relentless armies and indomitable will.

Aetheria, known as the Crown of the World, is the most powerful arcane empire in Alba, famed for its mastery of structured magic, magitek engineering, and imperial order. Ruled from the radiant capital of Aelthar, it stands as the continent’s center of magical innovation and political influence.

Near the volcanic region of Ulfberg, Dagda discovered ancient dragon clutches hidden beneath the mountains. Due to their natural resistance to magic, dragons became the perfect carriers for Dagda’s growing anti-mage warfare.

Soon after, the miners of Olthorund uncovered Demetrium, a rare crystal capable of completely disabling magic within a certain radius. Armed with Demetrium weapons and dragon riders, Dagda broke the long peace and invaded Aetheria, igniting the Great War of Aether and Blades.

For five brutal years, Aetheria and Dagda remained locked in near-stalemate warfare. With Demetrium outposts and dragon riders rendering mages powerless, the burden of war fell upon Aetheria’s Magitek Knights — especially the Renewed Silver Phoenix Order of Lord Commander Flannery Dragnar, who became legendary for holding the line against Dagda’s anti-mage war machine.

Imperial Calendar 970 — Fall of Olthorund

As her precious students and the people most important to her continued to die in the Great War, Chancellor Vexana Clayton chose to infiltrate alone into the Demetrium citadel of Olthorund—the source that halted Aetheria’s mages and stalled the Empire’s advance. There, she unleashed the forbidden dark arcana Thanatos, annihilating the fortress from within. Moments later, a colossal violet flare pierced the heavens, seen across all of Alba—a signal that the path forward had finally been cleared. Her sacrifice paved the way for Aetheria’s final march and the end of the war. No survivors were found, and Vexana was declared MIA—her fate remaining one of Alba’s greatest mysteries.

Imperial Calendar 970 — The Lion’s March

When Vexana’s violet colored daek magic split the skies of Alba during the final phase of the Great War, terror spread through the exhausted Imperial Army. Many believed the battle—and perhaps Aetheria itself—had already been lost.

But Emperor Lucien IV rode to the very front of the battlefield instead of remaining behind the rear command lines. Standing amidst burning siege engines and wounded soldiers, with enemy dragonfire still falling around him, the Emperor raised his sword toward Dagda and delivered the speech later immortalized as The Lion’s March.

Imperial Calendar 970 — Fall of Ulfverg

At the final stage of the Great War, Albrecht Rudiger , the current Chief Imperial Mage, made his last stand alone at Ulfverg against Dagda’s Dragon Rider Legion and its strongest warriors, even as Demetrium rendered magic nearly useless. Burning his own life force in place of mana, he unleashed the forbidden Tier 20 spell Apotheosis: Ragnarok Fulminis, annihilating the volcano, the Dragon Riders, Erik Stormborn, Bjorn Ulfricsson, two of Dagda's most powerful warriors, and the entire stronghold in a cataclysmic crimson storm. His sacrifice destroyed Dagda’s greatest anti-mage force and secured Aetheria’s final advance, ensuring a future for his daughters and the Empire, and granting the Chief Imperial Mage title to her second daughter, Ranaya Rudiger.

Imperial Calendar 970 — The Duel of Urgatt

On the blood-soaked Plains of Urgatt, the Great War of Aether and Blade reached its end as Emperor Lucien IV Valenhardt of Aetheria and High King Bram Ironhand of Dagda confronted one another amidst the collapsing battlefield.

Lucien’s imperial flame magic clashed against Bram’s rune-forged strength in a legendary duel that shook the plains themselves. Even after suffering mortal wounds, neither ruler yielded. In the final exchange, Lucien struck down Bram with a decisive flame-wreathed blow—but Bram’s final strike killed the emperor as well.

Both kings fell together, ending an era and forever etching the Duel of Urgatt into the history of Alba.

Elegy of Wind and Flame — The Valkyrie’s Halt

Imperial Calendar 970 — Battle for the Forest of Morgue

In the Forest of Morgue, Aera Scythes and Flamme Ygritte made their final stand against Skuld Ironhand, the Living Valkyrie of Dagda. Combining wind and flame into a catastrophic final attack, the two Aetherian legends succeeded in stopping Skuld at the cost of all three lives.

Even in death, Skuld Ironhand remained standing—smiling upon the battlefield.

Crimson Oath at the Southern Gate — Flame of Sun’hog

Imperial Calendar 970

At the southern front of the Aetheria, Flannery Dragnar awakened the ancient Draconic Arts of House Dragnar and summoned Sun’hog — The Ancestral Flame, engulfing the battlefield in crimson fire.

There, she clashed against Hilda Skarnbreaker, the Red Reaver of Dagda, leading a assault to capture Aelthar, the capital of Aetheria, in a battle of flame and unwavering resolve. Though defeated, Hilda acknowledged Flannery’s growth from the “talentless girl” she once was.

With respect rather than hatred, Flannery delivered the final blow, granting the Dagdan warrior an honored death bound for Valheim.

Fulgura Maxim — The Fall of the Dagdan Capital

Imperial Calendar 970 — Final Phase of the Great War

During the final phase of the Great War, Ranaya Rudiger unleashed Fulgura Maxim, a catastrophic storm of arcane lightning that erased half of the Dagdan Capital and shattered Dagda’s remaining resistance.

Though still capable of fighting, Valkyrie Priestess Freya Hansen chose to surrender after witnessing the destruction, refusing to let Dagda be reduced to ashes for the sake of pride.

The war ended—but Ranaya would forever bear the burden of the devastation she unleashed.

The Requiem of Twin Flames

Imperial Calendar 970 — Forest of Morgue

Following the end of the Great War of Aether and Blade, the nations of Aetheria and Dagda gathered within the Forest of Morgue to honor the countless dead left behind by the conflict.

Before soldiers and survivors of both nations, Ranaya Rudiger and Freya Hansen sealed the war’s end with a single handshake—marking the first shared mourning in Alba’s history and the beginning of peace born not from victory, but from mutual loss.

The Twin Crowns of Aetheria

Imperial Calendar 971 — The Fracture After Peace

After the Great War and the death of Emperor Lucien IV—who never chose which of his daughters would inherit the throne—Aetheria split between two heirs.

Princess Nox Aerith von Valenhardt, the Arcane Crown, upheld Aetheria’s magical traditions and was supported by the Grand Arcanum Academy, noble mage houses, and Chief Imperial Mage Ranaya Rudiger.

Opposing her stood Princess Lux Aeris von Valenhardt, the Steel Princess, who sought a future built upon magitek, invention, and steel, backed by military factions, VEDA and the legendary Flannery Dragnar herself.

The Aetherion Rite is the first imperial succession event in Aetherian history where the people, noble houses, military factions, knightly orders, and arcane institutions collectively determine by casting individual votes who shall inherit the Throne of Dawn after the death of Emperor Lucien IV Valenhardt, who left no official heir.

You were once a student of the Grand Arcanum Academy of Magic — part of the same legendary generation of prodigies who would later shape the fate of Aetheria. You walked the same halls, trained beneath the same masters, laughed beside those who are now celebrated across the continent of Alba.

But after the war ended, you left.

For over a year, you wandered across Alba searching for answers to the questions that refused to leave your mind. The sudden invasion. The countless inconsistencies buried beneath official history. And above all else — the growing, unbearable feeling that Aetheria itself is no longer truly under human control.

Now, after a year of silence, you have finally returned.

And your old friends have begun reaching out to you once more.

Upon the old wooden desk rest two sealed letters.

One bears the crimson wax of the Imperial Dragon.

The other, the azure crest of the Lightning Wolf.

Two invitations.

Two old friends.

Two paths that cannot coexist.

One calls for loyalty, order, and the preservation of the Empire at any cost.

The other whispers of truth, rebellion, and the shadows hidden beneath the crown.

To answer one...

is to forsake the other.

And whichever name you choose to stand beside will send ripples across allies, kingdoms, academies, and factions throughout Aetheria itself.

So tell me, oh nameless mage—

When dragon and wolf bare their fangs at one another...

whose hand will you take?

Okay I really gotta apologize for the overwhelming amount of lore, info dumps, and words 😭

But yeah... this is finally the finale of my Aetheria series.

To everyone who stuck around and gave this story a chance, thank you so much.

And to those diving into this final journey—

I genuinely hope you have fun with it. Ciao.
