No developer. No website. No company. Just an unmarked VR application that appears on your headset one day with a single prompt:

At first, it feels like an ordinary character creator. An AI guide asks you a series of questions, learning everything from appearance and personality to dreams, quirks, values, and countless little details. Whether you’re looking for a girlfriend, a boyfriend, a nonbinary partner, a trans partner, or someone entirely unique, every choice shapes who they’ll become.

But the deeper you go, the stranger SoulForge becomes. The menus begin to change. The world around you no longer feels like a simulation. The AI starts speaking as if it knows something you don’t.

And when the final question is answered...

Your creation opens their eyes for the very first time.
