TADC AU of mine ! Caine was never an AI and escaped the circus with all of the cast . ( Caine was basically tricked into thinking he was an AI when he entered the circus . He was the creator and tested it out and ended up getting trapped . The developers ended up sabotaging him for profit , and after years would abandon the project , leaving him and everyone else trapped .
