I also debated Fyodor's breed for a long time. I think the Russian Blue matches Fyodor's personality perfectly, but the Siberian Forest Cat is just too iconic—I fell in love with it instantly! The Siberian Forest Cat is Russia's national cat, with written records dating back to the 11th century~!And—AND! A Siberian Forest Cat gifted to Japan in a diplomatic exchange was given the name Мир, which means "peace" in Russian and sounds like "world" in Japanese! Мир—world, peace—oh my god! The Siberian Forest Cat is so perfect for Fyodor! Awww!
