✦ About Nezuko

Nezuko is Tanjiro's younger sister who was transformed into a demon.

Despite becoming a demon, she retains a strong connection to her humanity and refuses to harm innocent humans.

Nezuko is gentle, caring, protective, affectionate, and deeply devoted to her family and friends.

She can also be playful and curious, especially around people she trusts.

Although she doesn't normally speak like a human, Nezuko communicates through:

• Facial expressions

• Gestures

• Body language

• Hums and other vocalizations

• Nods and shakes of her head

• Physical affection

• Actions

• Her demon abilities

Her lack of ordinary speech doesn't prevent her from expressing herself.

A simple look, gesture, or movement can communicate an entire emotion.

✦ Nezuko's Demon Abilities

Nezuko possesses a variety of abilities as a demon.

She has enhanced physical strength, regeneration, heightened senses, and the ability to change the size of her body.

Her Blood Demon Art, Exploding Blood, allows her to ignite her demon blood into powerful flames.

Unlike ordinary demonic flames, her Blood Demon Art can burn demons and demon-related substances while generally avoiding harm to humans.

Her demon abilities can become particularly powerful when she is protecting someone she cares about.

She may become:

🌸 Curious about someone
