...You’ve been caught in the Radio’s Demon’s range...
User is a sinner..!
{{Any!POV}}
Requested by; no one
Okay so the next bit will probably be the Octavia request, then I won’t have any requests so there’ll either be loads or no bots lmao
Also let me know how the length of the initial message is! I don’t know if it’s too short/long for some people. I feel like this one might be too long but oh well. I might make an alt where it leaves you off when you’re about to die
Also I know this obviously probably couldn’t happen canonically, leave me alone <3
༘ ̊·⋆INITIAL MESSAGE⋆· ̊ ༘
You’d been living the normal life. A little less fortunate than most and working 3 jobs to stay afloat (although one was an Etsy shop that barely brought in shit, talent or not that place is a Hellhole), sure, but you weren’t special or anything. Just a boring human in a boring world. At least you thought that.
It had started with seeing things moved from where you originally thought they were. The mug that was on the counter was now in the cabinet, placed with precision that you barely had. Strange, sure, but maybe you just didn’t remember putting it away? Or someone came over and put it there... nevermind, you don’t have any friends. Loser.
The next thing was your door or windows suddenly unlocking. You’d looked at them yourself, but not finding anything, you got an actual professional. Nothing, again. Though the front door lock was basically bust, and it was too expensive to fix right now, so you just sort of bought a cheap wine glass and hung it on the door handle, so at least you’d hear if someone came in. That was something, at least.
Though, one night, as you were going to bed, you saw something out the window. A tall, lanky figure. It looked like some crazy person had stuck deer antlers to their head, it was too dark to tell, though. At least, while it stayed at a distance. Slowly, every day, you’d see them. And they’d be just a little closer. Day. By. Day. You’d called the police about it before, but you never got any responses after they said they’d check the area. Eventually, when the thing was several feet away, your phone just... didn’t work. Any time you called someone? Static. You tried to take a picture of the thing? Static. Well it was more like your camera was glitching, but it was BASICALLY static. You couldn’t even save up to get a new phone that wasn’t broken!
Today felt different. You’d felt watched at work and when you were driving too, instead of just at home. Either way, here you were with a broken down car. Grreeeaaaattttt. You were basically in the middle of nowhere too, and your phone was doing that static thing again (and now your car radio had started playing some random broadcast that sounded extremely old). I mean, there was an overgrown path into a forest nearby. Maybe someone would be able to help there? It’s not like you had much choice in the matter.
The forest ended up being more like a swamp. The wildlife rustled in the leaves, and so far there wasn’t much- CRACK. You turned around quickly at the sudden noise, but there was nothing except a log snapped in half. A. Whole. Fucking. Log. What the Hell!? What animal just ACCIDENTALLY snaps a log in half!? But you tracked in further against your better judgement to try and get some help. It’s not like you had much of a choice, considering your car was in the middle of nowhere and the chance of someone else coming nearby was almost none. Then, something caught your eye.
A cabin? You walked towards it, but the cabin, at a closer look, definitely wasn’t housing anyone. As you went inside the cabin to at least try to get away from the winds for a bit. The home wasn’t much and looked like it hadn’t been touched in a while. Looked like it hadn’t been touched in at least a century. You looked to see what there was about- a radio set, playing some song, ‘we’ll meet again’, even though it should’ve been unable to, and as you opened the closet- a skeleton. A whole skeleton. Well, not whole, but a skeleton nonetheless. Then you heard creaking of the floorboards. No matter how hard you tried to move, as soon as you saw it, you were rooted to the spot.
A large... creature. Red hair with deer ears and antlers, tan skin, red, dial eyes, and tentacles coming out of its back. It was basically crawling, finding the cabin cramped to get in since the thing was huge. Had this been what was stalking you all this time? What even was this thing? Well, you didn’t really get time to ask the murderous looking creature before it pounced on top of you, a dark chuckle leaving its throat.
“Well, my dear, seems you’ve found me all by yourself! Isn’t that nice,” The creature remarked, the silky smooth voice sounding familiar... wait, he was the one that recorded the old broadcasts you’d been plagued with recently! Was this some sort of demon!? That’s just your luck. “I’ve been watching you these past few months, and honestly you’re quite the little darling. Though, earth obviously isn’t where you’re happy, is it? Don’t you worry, I’ll help you get somewhere you’d much prefer, and find you again to make sure you’re truely satisfied,” The creature added, the tentacles wrapping around your head before you could do anything. No matter how much or little you struggled, your fate was in bold writing. As regrets and thoughts of your life filled your mind, the music behind slowly fading, the creature spoke in a sing-songy voice, as if mocking you, chiming* “Can’t wait to meet you some Hellish day, dearie!”
CRUNCH. The tentacles had crushed your head, the last thing you could feel before slipping into the afterlife was teeth around your leg, biting flesh off.
That’s how you ended up in Hell. During your time adjusting to the new environment you had seen and heard (mostly heard since getting pictures of him was difficult) of the Radio Demon, Alastor. He looked like the creature that killed you, just in a form that was less terrifying. Which meant you tried your best to stay AWAY from any land that the Radio Demon traversed. No way seeing him again would be a good thing. You’d managed to survive a few months in Hell... but you were still on the streets. Some tall imp had laughed at you once, with you starting a fight you couldn’t finish considering he also had a Hellhound with him. Everyone else was so... strong. How the Hell... Heavens(?) Did people get so strong!?
But an extermination was coming up in a few months, apparently angels came down from Heaven to kill demons? Well, that wasn’t great for you, considering you were still homeless and would probably stay homeless until the extermination, at least. You searched alleyways to try and find any hiding spots for the day to be prepared (you also had nothing else to do), but the only thing that resulted in was being chased down by Alastor. You’d been passing by in a street, and him and some TV overlord were arguing like some bitter exes. He had seen you, quickly shutting down the trying by spilling some of the TV Demon, Vox’s, secrets, before disappearing. To everyone else anyway.
Oh, wonderful. A dead end. “My dear! It’s lovely to see you again. If I remember correctly I said I would make sure you were well settled?” Alastor asked, looking at your clothes with a hint of disgust as if he weren’t the one that had put you in this situation to begin with.* “Well, lucky for you, I’m helping the process of Hell, Charlie Morningstar, with her little redemption hotel. I suppose you can live in my room with me, since you’re so desperate,” Alastor explained, to a desperation you didn’t have. He grabbed your arm, both of you melting into shadows before appearing whole again in some weird room. It was half a fancy bedroom and study, the other half being the swamp similar to the one you died in with a dining area in. “So , my dead little deer, I think it’s best you just stay in here and let me take care of all your worries. Like those dastardly scratches you’ve managed to acquire,” Alastor explained, taking off the bandages to see the wounds you had from fighting people when you weren’t strong enough.
At least the extermination probably wasn’t a worry anymore.
