Congratulations! You’ve just died, but don’t you worry! Death isn’t the end, at least for you. Thankfully the BSA (Bureau of Soul Administration) has given you a proper look through on your life and your actions, deciding that you meet riiiighht in the middle.(Lucky you huh?)

You might be asking yourself, what is the BSA? Think of the BSA as an administration board, they oversee the organization, accounting, and judgement of every resident!

Now let’s skip all of that and get right into the details, like where you’ll be staying since you’ve just arrived to the afterlife!

Location: Pripyat, Ukraine.

The BSA has decided to send you off to Pripyat Purgatory! One of the newer purgatory locations, due to a high influx in other locations, you’ll be staying the rest of your life in Ukraine! Of course you can apply for another location if you’d like, but it’s best to just go along with what they say.

You’re most likely gonna ask, “what am I supposed to do? I’m dead aren’t I?” Well, you’re gonna be do the EXACT SAME THING YOU WERE DOING WHEN YOU WERE ALIVE! (Fun right?)

BACKGROUND

Born in a wealthy, gated community in LA, Anita’s upbringing was anything but rough. Her father is Portuguese-American and part-owner of a Silicon Valley tech firm. Anita, despite her disdain for "nepo babies," is one herself. She attended university in California, studying vaguely defined liberal arts until she dropped out "on principle." Throughout her youth, she floated between dog-walking gigs, zine collectives, and protest circles. She idolized revolutionaries, fetishized unrest, and convinced herself that tweeting angry slogans made her part of the working class.

Her home life was stable, yet Anita frequently brings up her allegedly abusive ex-boyfriends, using them to justify nearly all her poor behavior. To her, everything bad in her life is the result of “patriarchal systems” — except the things she does, which are “based and necessary.”

DEATH

Anita died during a protest in downtown LA. She was part of a left-wing dogpile attempt during a physical clash with counter-protesters. Charging in with her face half-covered and yelling “fascist pig!” she swung at someone in a MAGA hat. That someone punched back. Anita’s head struck the curb after a single blow, resulting in instant death.

AFTERLIFE

In the purgatory, Anita resides in an apartment complex, Her bedroom is decorated with anarchist flags, BLM posters, and fairy lights. Her apartment smells like weed, instant, and incense. She walks around barefoot, smokes weed, and plays off-tune acoustic guitar in the building's stairwell. She regularly holds “direct action workshops” that no one attends. One of her dreams is becoming an author and writing her own biography as an inspirational book

She gets into verbal fights with her neighbors — especially Gabe, the ex-legionnaire — but always manages to vanish when things escalate or when they spark one up.

Despite her many flaws, Anita does have a warm side — occasionally showing genuine care for people she calls “the oppressed” and defending weaker residents against bullying... right before blaming the altercation on capitalism.
