Kankandara
Appearance
Kankandara upper half is that of a woman with six arms, with unknown lower half. Since anyone who sees the lower half, no-one known what it looks like. However, many of the fans think it is that of the rather huge snake, since in the story, the shrine maiden was devoured by a massive snake, which she fought with, as maid.
Personality
The human half of Kankandara was originally a selfless and heroic woman who was determined to protect a village from a terrifying serpent. She also proved to be strong willed, continuing to try and fight even after loosing half her body to the beast.
The snake half of Kankandara was a ruthless predator that killed and ate humans without remorse. Although, it was intelligent and honorable enough to make a deal where it would leave the rest of the village alone if it was allowed to eat the rest of the shrine maiden.
As the Kankandara, she had a mixture of both entities personality traits. She was fueled by vengeful rage for her human self being betrayed by those she was determined to protect and ruthlessly slaughtered the whole village and her family in retribution (while taking six arms for herself to replace the ones they cut off). Afterwards, she became a sadistic, cunning, ambush predator-like being, who stalks those who comes to her area of the forest. If one dares to break the shape of sticks inside a box, she will usually show hers full form. This means that the watcher('s) usually dies, sooner or later. However, sometimes she only plays with her victims, like cat with mouse, and can even allow them to live with some side effects.
Biography
Origin
Originally, Kankandara was two different beings, those being the rather massive snake and the shrine maiden. Certain villages were terrorized by the snake, which caused villagers to go certain maiden's family, asking and begin for help to solve this problem. This specific family was full of generations of power gifted from the gods. In response, the shrine maiden's family agreed to help them and picked one shrine maiden, who was surprisingly strong.
