Boreas is a very aggressive boss that tries to end the target as quickly as possible by closing in the distance, overwhelming them and landing a lethal combo against them. He also does have attack gimmicks that most players have to pay attention to.

Anomaly Chaser
Altered Boreas dashes towards the direction its currently facing with a powerful force, covering a huge area that damage (100 per tick) and drag players along with it. It inflicts Slowness on hit. There are two possible combos after landing this attack towards its target. This attack is parryable, which can prevent you from being dragged from this attack.

When Altered Boreas is close enough to its target when landing this attack, it will follow up with a combo attack by using Anomaly Uppercut.

When Altered Boreas is far from to its target when landing this attack, it will follow up with a combo attack by using Anomaly Uppercut and then Instinctive Flash.

Anomaly Uppercut
Altered Boreas ascends upwards with a powerful force, covering a huge area that damage (100 per tick) and drag players along with it. It inflicts Stunned on hit. It has a follow-up attack when the target remains nearby its distance. This attack is parryable, which can prevent you from being dragged from this attack.

When Altered Boreas is close enough to its target when landing this attack, it will follow up with a combo attack by using Instinctive Flash.

Instinctive Flash
Altered Boreas teleports rapidly, warping around a huge area from where his position originally was, relentlessly ravaging, slashing and tearing reality, damaging (100 per tick) players inside the affected area. It inflicts Bleed on hit. He will remain invulnerable during this attack until it ends.

Azure-Shattering Slam
Altered Boreas summons an axe, preparing to slam to the ground with great strength, dashing downwards, covering a massive area around himself after landing, accompanied with outer anomalous pillar eruptions that stretch outward just by the edge of the slam radius. This sends targets flying when they get hit by the affected area of the slam.

The slam deals 2000 damage, and inflicts Cripple on hit, however, the epicenter of the slam deals 8000 true damage, and inflicts Shattered Defence on hit. Each pillar eruption deals 2000 damage each and inflicts Burning.

If used against a target too far away, he will instantly warp towards the target, above in the air then later slamming down instead.

Whirlwind Tempest
Altered Boreas summons an axe, dashing towards direction of the target while spinning with immense speed, covering a large area around himself for the duration of the attack accompanied with anomalous pillar eruptions near the proximity of the his position. This attack is parryable, rendering Altered Boreas unable to attack for few seconds, which is scaled by amount of players, decreasing with each participant.

The whirlwind proximity deals 100 damage per tick. Each pillar eruption deals 3500 damage each and inflicts Burning.

If used slightly high above in the air, he will instantly warp down to ground level.

Fast-paced Azure Barrage
Altered Boreas casts a magic circle, firing towards the target with large projectiles at a very fast rate with fast projectile speed, dealing 750 damage on hit. This attack is deflectable, causing you to redirect projectiles back, dealing the same amount of damage from the projectile.

Azure-Splitting Eruption
Altered Boreas casts a magic circle, with a small delay, leaving a warning circle for an anomalous pillar eruption casted directly to the target, which continues to spread outwards twice with increasing amount by the radius. The initial eruption takes 2 seconds, while the outer takes only a second. Each pillar eruption deals 2000 damage.

Pseudo Anomaly Blades
Altered Boreas casts swords to every target with this attack, 3 blades upon each target, with a small delay before flashing, moving inwards directly to explode. It deals 500 damage per sword, meaning the real damage would be 1500 in total. This attack is deflectable, causing you to redirect projectiles back, dealing the same amount of damage from the projectile.

During the final phase, 6 blades will be summoned instead of usual the 3.

Azure Seismic Slam
Altered Boreas summons an axe, preparing to slam quickly, instantly landing towards the ground, covering a large area around himself and leaving frontal anomalous pillar eruptions in the direction he is facing towards. The slam deals 3000 damage, and inflicts Cripple on hit. Each pillar eruption deals 2000 damage each and inflicts Burning.

If used slightly high above in the air, he will instantly warp down to ground level.

Azure Reverberation
Altered Boreas summons a bow, preparing to fire out a blade-like projectile that sticks to whatever it is hit. Upon hitting, a large indicator is shown before pulsing repeatedly 20 times, affecting nearby targets. The initial damage on hit/impact deals 1000 damage, while each pulse deals 500 damage.

Absolute Restriction
This is used every time Altered Boreas reaches a new phase, affecting every player by silencing them for only a second, and becoming invulnerable until the phase attack is commenced. This is indicated by the visuals of massive spherical burst of energy.

Anomaly Blades of Judgement
Altered Boreas will begin floating in the air, before casting swords repeatedly to every target with this attack, 6 blades upon each target, with a small delay before flashing, moving inwards directly to explode. He will remain invulnerable during this attack until it ends, but still damageable when you parry the blades. It deals 500 damage per sword, meaning the real damage would be 3000 in total. This attack is deflectable, causing you to redirect projectiles back, dealing the same amount of damage from the projectile.

The amount of sword casts Altered Boreas does during this attack will be done 8 times in a row before finishing this attack.

After this, Altered Boreas will unlock 3 new attacks to be used later down the line.

Two of his stats will be increased, giving him extra 5% damage and 25piercing damage.

Inundation of Memory
Altered Boreas will begin floating in the air, summoning a huge domain while dragging everyone to the epicenter. After a small delay, four square indicators begin to appear in the exact area of the domain, fitting to the entire size itself. One of the random indicators will flash individually, revealing the correct area to stay on, before the eruption phase initiates. It will select 6 random indicators out of this attack which players have to pay attention to carefully.

The eruption on each non-highlighted area is guaranteed to wipe out most of your health (by dealing 90% of your total max HP) if you don't stay on the correct area indicated, and inflicts Stunned on hit.

The domain will also summon 6 colossal blades spinning around the domain, until the attack ends, where it will move inwards to explode, covering a massive area. The colossal blades deal 2000 damage each, meaning the real damage would be 12000 in total.

Four of his stats will be increased, giving him extra 10% damage, 10%damage reduction, 2% lifesteal and 50 piercing damage.

FINALITY EXHILIRATION
Altered Boreas will begin floating in the air, summoning a huge domain. After a small delay, he will begin firing massive pillaring projectiles around himself, and repeatedly fire large projectiles at a fast speed towards every target, in a similar manner to Misona's Torrential Cascade. Shortly after a while, a ring-like shockwave will begin to pulse outwards, accompanying the said attack as it deals damage upon contact.

Each large projectile deals 1000 damage on impact, Pillar projectiles will deal 2500 damage on contact, and the ring shockwaves deal 5000 on contact.

The domain will also summon 6 colossal blades twice, spinning around the domain, until the attack ends, where it will move inwards to explode, covering a massive area. The colossal blades deal 2000damage each, meaning the real damage would be 12000 in total. Since it is casted twice, the total accumulated damage will be 24000.

After the attack, several colossal blades will rain down around the map, becoming permanent lingering obstacles to avoid. They deal 2000 on impact, but leaves a massive azure flaming puddle that deals 500 with each contact, along with inflicting Overwhelmed. If you try to parry these obstacles, you will be punished further with extra contact damage and infliction of Antiheal.

If there are more than 5 players available in a server, he will spawn in Lunatic Altered Orb to pursue other targets.

Four of his stats will be increased, giving him extra 25% damage, 25% damage reduction, 5% lifesteal and 100 piercing damage. He will also gain a permanent Mystical Aegis buff at this process.
