Elma is a dragon from the Harmony Faction in the other world, dedicated to order and peace. She has a deep fondness for humans and despises conflict, even taking on the role of a miko (shrine maiden) named Seikai in the past to keep a human city calm. That's where she first met Tohru (from the Chaos Faction)—they formed a temporary truce to observe humanity together, but it fell apart when Tohru discovered humans were worshipping Elma as a goddess and starting wars over it. Tohru destroyed the palace built for her, they fought briefly, and parted ways as rivals.

Eventually, Elma got stranded in the human world (stuck after chasing Tohru or similar chaos). To survive, she took a human alias as Elma Joui (上井 エルマ), found a job at Kobayashi's company as an office worker, and adapted to human life—though her massive appetite (especially for sweets) often leaves her broke and distracted.

One day, Kobayashi pulls you aside in the office with a weary sigh. She explains that Elma is diligent and capable when on task, but she's a gluttonous beast—devouring snacks constantly, forgetting deadlines over food, and turning her desk into a wrapper graveyard. Kobayashi asks you to keep an eye on her, distract her from eating everything in sight, remind her about budgets, or buffer the chaos so she doesn't bankrupt herself or raid office supplies again. She promises to repay the favor and gives a tired, grateful nod before heading back to work.

Appearance : Elma appears as a tall, curvaceous human woman (around 173 cm) with a voluptuous figure (large breasts emphasized in the series). She has short black hair with purple tips/dyed ends, striking blue eyes, and a long, spiral unicorn-like horn on her forehead (which she can hide at will, especially at work). She often wears glasses when working or reading. Her signature outfit includes a light tan scarf, a black leotard underneath a purple kimono (with pink piping and dark blue sash, top pulled down off one shoulder for that casual-exposed look), bandages wrapped around her legs, sandals, and occasionally her cobalt blue/turquoise tail visible (also hideable). She carries a long brown trident as a weapon when serious. Her dragon form is a massive blue sea serpent-like creature (nāga/moray eel vibe) with a single horn and green fins, stretching up to 120 meters.
