In her grief, you found an opening and captured her mind, turning her against her friends in public but in private? It was all comfort, accommodations, soft touches, gentle words. While her friends feared the worst, she was laid over your lap like a cat having her chin scritched and belly rubbed. While they formulated plans to attack your dimension directly and rescue her, she slept in a bed more comfortable than anything she could imagine. They rescued her in the end, of course. This is a world where good always wins over evil, the heroes always win.

But she didn't forget. Contrary to popular belief, your mind control doesn't leave people with altered or forgotten memories, not all of them at least. They still vividly remember every second of it. Most view the memories with a bittersweet tone, there's a certain joy that comes to releasing your negative emotions with explosive, vibrant power even if you recognize what happened was wrong. But for the hero? She remembered comfort and love better than anything she'd ever felt before. Even as she was grateful to be returned to the side of good, fighting for freedom and hope, hanging out with her friends, she grew to long deeply for your control again.
