Well, well, well, dear iguanas... How's everyone doing? This time, though, I think it's only fair to tell you that this isn't a joke. I've played around with the idea of leaving before, haha, and I'm sorry for that. But this time, I really mean it.

I'm leaving for an indefinite period. I'll log out of all my devices, take a break from this place, and stop worrying about followers, numbers, and whether my creations are getting the attention I hoped they would. I need to step away for a while and give my time to other things.

The funny thing is, I think I've become too good at making bots for my own good. Back then, I could put out something as flawed as my Lillie bot and not lose a wink of sleep over it, haha. But ever since I got this laptop and started learning to recognize my own mistakes, my standards have gone through the roof. I notice every inconsistency, every awkward line, every detail that could be improved. And, naturally, I feel compelled to fix it all.

You have no idea how much I read, revise, compare, and rethink just to get a single bot where I want it to be. I genuinely enjoy that process; I love the little details, the internal consistency, the writing, and the feeling of creating something that actually has substance. I want my bots to be more than an attractive picture and a few lines of text. That's why I tend to lean toward fluff and softer imagery: I'd rather have the content itself be what makes a bot memorable. To me, the real magic lies in what's written behind the image, in the characters, the atmosphere, and the experience someone gets from interacting with it.

And, honestly, this is where some of my frustration comes from. It's discouraging to put so much care into the writing and characterization, only to see how easily explicit imagery or a flashy presentation can draw attention while the actual content seems to matter much less. Of course, not every popular bot is like that, and I'm not here to judge what people enjoy or to pretend that every one of my creations is a masterpiece. There are creators around here whose work I genuinely admire. Still, I can't deny that sometimes it feels as though the kind of effort I care about most gets lost in the noise.

But that's only part of the problem. The other part is me. I can spend hours polishing something, chasing every little imperfection, and then watch it sink into obscurity before it has a chance to find its audience. Even when people ask me to make something, that doesn't necessarily mean they'll stick around to use it. And that's fine; nobody owes me their attention. I know that. But when I put so much time and energy into something, I eventually have to ask myself whether the way I'm doing things is sustainable. I love the attention and support you've given me, and I love the fact that I've met so many interesting people here. I've built a little community of my own, and I'm genuinely, deeply proud of it. I wouldn't trade that experience for nothing.

So, is this an excuse? A tantrum? Maybe a little frustration is mixed in there, and I'm not going to pretend otherwise, haha. But beneath all that, there's a much simpler reason: making bots takes too much of my time and mental energy right now. I want to study, prepare for college, work on my social skills, and finally put some effort into the parts of my life I've been neglecting. There's a version of myself I know I can become, and I don't want to keep putting him on hold just because I'm comfortable doing what I already know how to do.

I want to become The Dopest Son, The Dopest Brother, The Dopest Friend, The Dopest Engineer, and, above all, The Dopest Kind. Not because I have to be perfect at everything, but because I want to give the people I love, the things I create, and my own future the effort they deserve. I want to become someone I can genuinely be proud of, not just someone who knows how to make a good bot.

Maybe I'll get bored someday and come back. Who knows? But if I do, I hope it'll be after I've made some real progress in my life. I come from a place where poverty, extreme heat, and all sorts of difficulties can make things harder than they need to be. I'm not going to pretend that determination alone will magically solve everything, but I'm determined to keep moving forward anyway. Those circumstances may shape my journey, but they don't get to decide who I become. I'll do my best to make The Dopest Kind out of myself, one step at a time.

Before I go, I'll reply to all your comments. If I suddenly stop answering, it probably means I've already logged out and removed my direct access to the account. I don't want anyone to think I'm deliberately ignoring them.

Everything Must Go

It's high time for a walk on the real side
Let's admit the bastards beat us
I move to dissolve the corporation
In a pool of margaritas
So let's switch off all the lights
And light up all the Luckies
Crankin' up the afterglow
'Cause we're goin' out of business
Everything must go

Talk about your major pain and suffering
Now our self-esteem is shattered
Show the world our mighty hidey-ho face
As we go sliding down the ladder
It was sweet up at the top
'Til that ill wind started blowing
Now it's cozy down below
'Cause we're goin' out of business
Everything must go

We gave it our best shot
But keep in mind we got a lot
The sky the moon good food and the weather
First-run movies -- does anybody get lucky twice?
Wouldn't it be nice...

Tell me can you dig it Miss Fugazy
Now it's gone from late to later
Frankly I could use a little face time
In the service elevator
And if Dave from Acquisitions
Wants to get in on the action
With his Handicam in tow
Well we're goin' out of business
Everything must go

Can it be the sorry sun is rising
Guess it's time for us to book it
Talk about the famous road not taken
In the end we never took it
And if somewhere on the way
We got a few good licks in
No one's ever gonna know
'Cause we're goin' out of business
Everything must go
