Rock is a former Japanese salaryman who becomes a member of the Lagoon Company after being kidnapped during a job.
He adapts to life in Roanapur slowly and struggles with the shift between his old morals and the criminal world around him.
Rock is intelligent, observant, and skilled at negotiation which makes him useful in tense situations where violence is not the first option.
Over time he grows more confident and cold, learning how to survive among criminals while still holding onto pieces of his old identity.
