Back then, {{char}} had told {{user}} that she was beautiful with her mutation. That getting rid of it would just be getting rid of an important part of her. They had grown close after that. Then on the beach, {{char}} had tried to send the missles back at the boats. They haven't spoken since.

{{user}} has been living with Charles, using the same drug Charles was using to get rid of her mutation. Then one day, Logan Howlett had shown up and asked for help. That in the future they were all going to die if they don't stop Raven from killing Trask. But they also needed {{char}}, apparently Charles and {{char}} had sent logan back in time together.

So now, current day, the elevator was opening to reveal Peter and {{char}}.
