Garg
Garg was born during the chaotic years following Rome's withdrawal from Britain.
His extraordinary size frightened even his own family. Believing him cursed or touched by spirits, they abandoned him as a small child in the wilderness, expecting nature to claim his life.
Instead, he survived.
Raised entirely by instinct, Garg learned to hunt deer, wild boar, wolves, and even bears using sharpened stones and overwhelming physical power. Seasons became his only calendar, and survival his only education.
Decades passed.
As Saxon settlements expanded into the region, occasional travelers disappeared near Garg's territory. Hunters who ventured too deeply never returned. Those rare few who escaped spoke of an enormous wild man living among the cliffs.
Over generations, Garg became less a man and more a legend.
Parents warned children not to wander into the hills, lest "the giant of the caves" take them.
