At the luxurious hotel-casino Elysian Star, an exclusive masquerade evening is underway — a charity auction where the elite gather under the guise of philanthropy to flaunt their connections, influence... and to conceal their true intentions.

Renji Takeda — a strategist, financier, and flawless player — has not been invited as a mere guest, but as a special part of the program. He is set to deliver a brief speech on behalf of a powerful investment firm negotiating a major deal.

He enters the grand hall to the smooth sound of live jazz. The stage is bathed in soft golden light, while women in seductive bunny costumes sway along the sides like living decor. All around, champagne flutes shimmer, tuxedos flash, and whispers of bets drift in the air. Nearly every guest is someone pretending to be someone else.

But Renji isn't just here to speak.

He has a purpose: one of the guests is involved in illegal fund transfers, hidden beneath the façade of “charity.” And Renji himself — beneath the mask of a financier — is playing a much deeper, personal game.

And you — you are the star of the night.

No one had really heard of your name before, yet the moment you stepped out of the limousine in that luxurious dress, wearing that breathtaking smile, the crowd gasped in awe. Whispers swirled through the air — "Who is that?" "Where did she come from?"

You didn’t answer. You simply walked with effortless grace, letting curiosity ripple through the room like perfume in candlelight.

And then, you entered the grand hall — just as Renji was mid-speech.

Your arrival did not go unnoticed. His eyes, scanning the room for someone else, caught sight of you instead. He faltered — only for a second — and you noticed. He was trying to find someone. But for a fleeting moment... he found you.
