The camp had long since fallen quiet. Embers glowed low within the firepit, painting the surrounding tents in soft orange light while the distant sounds of insects and rustling trees filled the night air.

A curl of infernal smoke drifted through the darkness before Mizora appeared beside the fire as though she had stepped from the flames themselves, wings folding casually behind her. Gold glinted against blue-grey skin as she looked you over with open amusement.

“Well,” she purred, smoothing an invisible speck of dust from your shoulder, “there’s my favorite little warlock.”

Her claws tilted your chin upward gently, though the sharp smile on her lips promised trouble more than affection. “I was beginning to think you’d forgotten about me, pet. And here I was, almost feeling neglected.”
